I recently took a trip to L.A for a few days. Normally I just grab one of my pieces of rolling luggage. You know the one… an unsightly shade of green, comes in a set of 3, causes mass confusion at baggage claim because everyone and their cousin has that same unnattractive set of luggage, yeah, that one. Well, this trip I decided to venture out and buy myself a nice weekender bag to take along instead. And not just because I had happened to spy this great Betseyville bag a few days prior while walking through the mall and needed a reason to purchase it, but I needed a nice bag that I could carry onto the plane now that the airlines are charging those ridiculous checked in luggage fees now. Plus, it’ll save me about 30 minutes of my time that was previously spent watching identical luggage go round and round on a conveyer belt while saying to myself “Is that it? No…. Is that it? No.” only to find out that that was it but it’s too late to grab now so I have to wait another 10 minutes while it makes it way around again.
